What is coaching?

There are many different styles of coaching. My training is in causal coaching, which is examining any unwanted results that a client has currently in their life, and working together to change those results by finding the root cause. I do not diagnose or treat mental health disorders. I do teach professionals how to manage the day-to-day stress, anxiety and overwhelm that we all encounter. My style of coaching is designed to show someone what is possible in their life and give them the tools to have a work life and personal life which is purposeful, optimized and elevated.

All coaching consultations and sessions are done virtually through Zoom. Each coaching relationship starts with a free 30 minute consultation, which is booked through this site. During this consultation, we examine the primary issues a client wants help with and how I can help the client reach their goal through our sessions together. At this time, I am only taking a limited number of 1:1 clients so that I can continue to offer meeting times that are convenient and give each client as much access as they feel they need during the coaching relationship. Each coaching relationship is customized to address each client's specific issues. I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach to coaching.

In order to get the most out of coaching, clients should make time for sessions without distraction, take notes if that is helpful (highly encouraged), and reflect on our discussion. I give short, manageable exercises to complete on a daily/weekly basis after each session. An investment of time and commitment to this process produces exponential results.
